Check each of the following:

1. On iOS, go to Settings → Notifications → Fogos and make sure "Allow Notifications" is turned on.
2. In the app, go to the Settings tab and confirm you have selected a notification language.
3. Make sure you have at least one city, district, or village subscribed in the Settings tab.
4. Check that your device has an internet connection — notifications require connectivity to reach Apple's servers.

Open the app and go to the Settings tab. Under "Notifications", select your language and then choose the cities, districts, or villages you want to receive alerts for.

Fogos needs location permission to show fires near you. Go to Settings → Fogos → Location and select "While Using the App".

Fire data is fetched from official Portuguese sources and updated approximately every 90 seconds while the app is open.

Go to the Settings tab in the app and select your preferred language under "Notifications". You can choose Portuguese, English, or French.

All notification preferences and settings are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To request deletion of any server-side data (crash reports, FCM token), contact us at the email below.
